Official partner for "Strive for perfection"

Each year, the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts' Club publishes an exclusive coffeetable book, “Strive for Perfection,” with inspiring images and insightful articles about Rolls-Royce cars.

In this year’s edition, the book celebrates the 20th anniversary of Rolls-Royce’s presence at Goodwood and tells the story of the iconic brand’s exceptional success. It also highlights Rolls-Royce’s pioneering role in sustainable luxury and the company’s vision of “fewer but better” products - crafted to the highest standards of quality.

This invitation represents a unique opportunity to present Aakjaer Furniture’s classic pieces and timeless designs to a global luxury audience. Originally designed in the 1950s by Jørgen Aakjær Jørgensen, and now revived by his granddaughter Nanna Aakjær Svendsen, the collection continues a proud legacy of creating handcrafted furniture of the highest class - enriching modern homes with elegance, beauty, and lasting value.

"We are thrilled to have Intarsia Furniture on board as an official partner in the 'Strive for Perfection - Celebrating 20 Years of Goodwood' project. Their exceptional history, dedication to craftsmanship, and woodworking traditions have caught our attention."

– Richard Freed, Founder of St James’s House

The publication has given Aakjaer Furniture the opportunity to join a select group of prestigious brands in celebrating one of the automotive industry’s most significant anniversaries.

The official book launch and celebration took place on 6 October 2023 in the magnificent Ballroom at Grosvenor House in London. As part of the event, Aakjaer Furniture had the honour of presenting its designs to more than 2,000 international guests, followed by participation in the exclusive gala dinner hosted in collaboration with London’s Press Club.

Aakjaer Furniture extends its sincere thanks to the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts' Club and St James’s House for this truly unique opportunity.
